I am a compassionate, kind, and caring individual with excellent clear and effective communication skills. I enjoy the companionship aspect of caring, ensuring that my clients are safe in a happy home. I maintain their dignity and respect at all times, allowing them to make decisions when it is safe to do so. I am happy to join them in their favourite activities or simply sit and talk. I have over 20 years of experience working in health and social care, including working as a live-in caregiver. I am passionate about my work as a Carer because it allows me to provide the best service and care to clients while they live in their own home. I am well-known for my excellent cooking skills. I am a travel and culture enthusiast who has lived in several countries and also fluent in Ndebele. My strengths include the ability to establish a trusting relationship and a positive environment for the client, allowing them to feel safe and comfortable in their own home. All of my mandatory training, including medication awareness and infection control, is current.
I have a full UK driving licence and own a car in the UK.
